This paper describes the process used in the review of Johnson Matthey's Syngas Catalyst manufacturing plants around the world. Following the Baker report describing the findings and failings contributing to the BP Texas City Incident Johnson Matthey's senior management requested all operating units to evaluate their own vulnerabilities. The authors explain how site teams reviewed The Baker Report to evaluate their own vulnerabilities with regard to the issues identified in the report.
